Happy Halloween :)

Hello year 5, 

 I remind you that this weekend you should read around 10-15 minutes minimum from the reading books. Those of you who haven't given me the summary today, if you haven't given it to me by Tuesday you will have to stay during break-time to do it. 

I have put a mermaid in our blog that will remind you of all the things you have to do. By the way, Arantxa and I have already given points on class dojo.

Friday News

Hello,

I have given positive points on class dojo to those of you who have done ALL the homework this week and who I haven't had to remind how you should behave in class (sitting down, being quiet while others are working...etc).I will give more + points after the exam. 

 I remind you that you'll have a TEST on Unit 2 on Monday. Review the two worksheets I gave to you today ( The review sheet and the practice WS), the book on blink, the workbook and this blog. Good luck!

I plan on putting the photos on the calendar before Thursday, so bring me your PHOTOS!!!

On Thursday morning we will change the reading books, so throughout the week you should finish reading them  and do the summary. If you have any questions ask me through blink.

Library :)

Today we started the class library :)!!Remember you can keep the book for two weeks or change it next week. You have to fill in the reading record sheet (Reading Log) with the name of the book, the author, when you finished reading it and rate it (- , *, **, ***, **** or even *****). I will collect your summary of the book  the day you want to change it by another one and I will include your grade on on your reading record. Remember to bring it ON FRIDAYS. This weekend read minimum 10-15 minutes.

Remember to give the paper to your parents so they can get their own code and follow the instructions. They have to sign it!Bring the letter signed, the grades of the test signed too and a photo for the calendar.

Class Dojo

Hello!I give you more instructions for log into class dojo. You have to use the code I gave you today, the one which starts with S. If you already had an account and you can't login again, press the orange tab to put in the code first and then create a new account. You can use any email account (hotmail, educamadrid, gmail..etc). Put a pasword that is easy to remember (for example the one you have for your email). Try it today and tell me tomorrow if you didn't manage to get in. 

  If the student does NOT already have a ClassDojo student account:

1.  Visit www.classdojo.com/student
2.  Click the yellow "Sign up" button under "Don’t have an account yet?" 
3. Create a username and password. All done :) 
4. The username shows up on the “Student Logins” tab on your reports page, where you can also reset their password if needed! 

 If the student already has a ClassDojo student account: 

1. Visit www.classdojo.com/student
2. Enter existing username and password under “Log in” on the right 
3. Once inside the site, click the “Student codes” link in the top of the screen. 
4. Enter your student code in the box and submit it! 

What can students do?  Check their progress for the week and build their own avatar to show up in class! Students cannot...  See the point totals of other students, see your comments to parents  or communicate with other students.

Hello, I'm editing the blog. If you click on the tab called grammar you can see the ppts we use in class. Remember to read them before the exam you have on Friday!!!
